The fact that this has become popular in the world of Tumblr…..I’m like…I watch these people! Daily! :)
I cannot wait to get back into writing posts this Summer when I finally have the time again.
Get ready for it.
I’ve been craving thrifting for quite some time now and have been gaining ideas via Pinterest that I will hope to blog about. DIY and craftiness coming your way.
In only…..40 days!
I just want to go home. Now.
…because words can hurt..no matter when, where, or how they are said….
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
People Surprise You.
Just yesterday I bonded over a nice little conversation with the one person here I thought I would never even begin to open up to.
That was a nice surprise.
But then, yet again, today, he surprised me.
The 180 degree type of surprise.
He used the deep stuff said as daggers in my back.
Today I got a facebook message from my crush in middle school.
That alone was a surprise.
I thought I would never talk to him ever again.
His message wasn’t your average “how have you been” small-talk but was instead an apology.
He heard a song today that instantly made him think of me.
and also think of how he treated me way back in middle school.
He apologized for that. 5 years after the fact.
Which is amazing.
It’s admirable.
It’s something I wish more guys could or would do.
It’s surprising.
That’s what’s surprising about the 24 hours in a day.
Every single hour makes a difference.
My morning was filled with bad surprises.
My night was filled with pleasant surprises.
How does that happen like that?
Have you ever wondered?
It never fails to amaze me, or surprise me, how things work out.
Just when you think things are bad or crappy and you lose some faith in people, some other happening just happens and things turn right around.
You gain some hope and your faith is restored.
So go and send that message to that person or talk to them or call them or text them or send them a letter. Do SOMETHING! Because chances are, that something is the little spark of hope they’re needing right now. And chances are that your outreach and message will restore their faith in whatever areas their faith is lacking.
“So goodbye for awhile. I’m off to explore every boundary and every door. Yeah, I’m going North.”
Ready or not, here I come.
Here we go.
This is the beginning.
The rest of my life begins now.
This is my dream I’m going after.
My dream begins tomorrow.
And I won’t stop until I’ve accomplished all I’ve set out to accomplish.
It’s sad, but sometimes moving on with the rest of your life starts with goodbye.
:)
but only for a little while…
